I have just been given one of these irons by my daughter as the steam stopped on it. I was told that it needed a new cartridge,( still trying to find where I can get one ) I cleaned the cartridge by flushing it with hot water,I then replaced the cartridge. to clean the system, fill the tank with cold water, put the iron setting on min, switch on the iron, when the light goes out, hold the iron over a dish, press the steam button for about 2 mins. then put the temp on to max, once light goes out use iron on an old clean piece of cloth with steam button depressed, this will pick up all the dirt that comes out of the tank during the cleaning process. I,M pleased to say the iron is now working perfectly. I will still try and get a new cartridge for future reference.
