Our knitmaster 360 is locked for transport. We do not have an operation manual and do not know how to unlock it.

Hi James,
There will be a metal bracket held in place by one of the thumb screws on the carriage. Undo the thumb screw, ease the bracket forward and unhook it from the end of the needlebed.
If you do a search on Google you will find several places which can supply a manual for your machine.
