fix brake shoes?

how to fix brake shoes on ford ka
simon, July 2010
loosen wheel bolts, jack up car, remove wheel, place axle stand under car, remove anti-rattle spring, remove calipar holding bolts, these can be "allen key" hex bolt, or torx key types, take of calipar, remove old pads, making sure you do not let calipar hang down without support, as this will strain the flexi-hose,push piston back and clean whole area to remove dust etc, smear copper ease on back of new pads and fit, refit calipar, anti-rattle spring, re-fit wheel, when you have done both sides, pump brake pedal to reset pads, check fluid level.

hope it helps, July 2010
