Have a knocking noise on belt tensioner?

the bearing appears to be fine, is the spring goning bad in the tensioner to cause this noise? 3.8 litre buick 1991 year.

some bearings can appear to be ok but when a load is exerted they can whine and rumble,wouldn`t take any chances,replace the tensioner.
