I have a Neff B1641 oven, about 8 years old. The oven door no longer stays fully shut tight. It stays about 1cm open, which is wasting valuable heat. I can push it shut tight, but it bounces back open when I let go. I've tried removing the door and cleaning everything, but that hasn't helped at all.

I had the same problem with a different model (12 yrs old). I bought replacement hinges from "espares" and it shut tight again. They were about £30 a pair and easy to fit.

sounds like your hinges have lost tension. try replacing them that should solve your problem
