Trident "Jade" permanent low pressure light?

My trident jade shower shows a permanent low pressure light. Have checked water pressure generally and water flow/pressure to the unit but still no flow thru' the unit. Any suggestions would be useful.

Thank u hi-spec for ur valuable assistance. Part was ordered yesterday from shower-doc. arrived this am(tues) and was fitted by 08.45. Now have a fully working shower at a fraction of the cost of a new one or an engineer visit.

Thanks again

Thanks for update.

Have checked as u suggested. Meter does not register any reading.

Have removed base section of valve assembly. Appears to be a sealed magnetic coil.

Is this the part (HYDR-27600) u referred to.

to check a solenoid coil isolate the mains power supply
use a multi meter set to ohms and place the probes on each terminal of the coil.
you should get a reading of 3.4 kohms or above.

solenoid valve assembly(83304130) which retails at about £30
you only need the coil item number HYDR-27600
retails at about £15.

let me know what reading you get.

Thank you for your reply.
Checked water to unit by releasing 15mm copper inlet pipe.

Is the solenoid coil the same as the solenoid valve assembly(83304130) and is there a way that I could test this.

how did you check water pressure/flow ?

you say no flow through shower & low water pressure.

if you have no water flow then the solenoid coils failed.
