rm4236 fridge?

When I switch on my fridge,it trips 240switches.12volt battery is dead and I cant see if the gas is working .The van has been sitting at storage for 2.5years but all the lights and sockets seem to work fine.Can someone help as I am taking it away tomorrow for my daughter for one week.
