our boiler starts heating when all the taps are off and when heating is turned off.
then it makes a lot of noise (like an kettle running dry) then goes to lockout
gratefull for any help
Common fault.
The water pressure switch will probably be leaking, causing, the mechanism that operates the water microswitch to be sticking in the 'on' position.
New water section will sort it.
