I have a Piaggio fly 2005 reg, it starts buts won't move when I rev. Please can someone help. I don't want to get ripped off when I take it to the garage! Many thanks

Thanks guys, but know he telling me the belt is fine and it's to do with the back wheel and that I am going to need a new one!

well a belt should be about £30 and the labour will be half an hour at the garages rate of labour usually around 40-45 pounds so the whole job will be about 55.00 + vat i reckon.

the drive belt has more than likeley broken.take the left hand cover off the engine and have a look in there,its a very common problem,ps leave the kickstart lever bolted to the shaft dont undo it it comes off in the case,and you will need to remove the oil filler cap to get the cover off too.and maybe the airbox may need lifting up a bit to clear the case
