Too early to blame the garage?

Had my cam belt and water pump replaced the other day and now my alternator is not charging up the battery as supposidely there is a bolt missing. I'm assuming that the garage has not put it back on and hence they should be able to fix it at no extra charge. My car won't start and Im going to have to call the AA out to jump start it. Can anyone give me any help please?.

Lol for the tip - good idea but I know I dont have the confidence to do it. It was kwik fit that told me something was missing, so before I go accusing my garage, I want to see what the AA have to say too. May as well call them out seen asthough I pay my membership fees :)

i would get garage to come out, as, if they have missed a bolt out, then its their fault and they have not fulfilled their contract with you, i would go when they have other customers about and make a fuss, as they do not like it when complaints are made in front of customers.

hope it helps, August 2010
