how do i adjust the engine idle speedon my citroen xsara picasso ?

Hi got a citroen xsara picasso, when i start the engine from cold it stalls unless i apply throttle, how do you adjust the choke/idel speed to compensate for this ?

The idle speed is controlled by an idle control valve/motor and it is controlled by the engine ECU so is not adjustable
