baxi boiler 35/60 indicating faulty pump or low pressure?

the boiler is indicating faulty pump,or low pressure.the pump is running and there is 1.5 bar pressure.your can hear the boiler running but shes not firing.anybody got an idea

I have exactly the same problem with the same sympton. ie 60 degree alarm lit but pump appears to run and there is adequate system pressure.

thanks for the valuable info carefree,done what you said,rod didnt move,so made the switch and away she went.so what i need to do is replace the diaphram.thanks a million

Hydraulic Differential Pressure Sensor (Pump flow sensor).
Either the diaphragm or microswitch is fauly, suspect the diaphragm.

Located bottom left of the boiler, turn on the boiler (pump running), physically watch for the microswitch to be made by push rod, if not, make the switch manually, if boiler fires, you have your answer.
