My hotpoint dwf70 shows DEMO and won't work. Any solutions gratefully received.

This is the only place that tells you to cancel any program first before pressing On/Off & Start/Reset buttons. If you don't cancel the program first it doesn't work. Even the Hotpoint manual leaves out that important step. Was very glad to get it working again

If the diswasher is off, switch on using the standby button until the LCD display is On .

Cancel any prog' that has been selected by pressing and holding the start/Reset button untill you hear 3 beeps (depening on the model).

Press and hold both the "Standby" & "Start/Reset" buttons for a few seconds untill the screen says " D OFF " (demo off) let the buttons go this is then replaced with four dashes ("- - - -" ) on the screen . Demo is now off, the dishwasher can now resume normal operation.

Note:- Pressing the "Standby" & "Start/Reset" simultaneously for a few second agian will reactivate the demo prog' (screen says "D ON")

hold the two right hand butttons down for about 60 sec /power off and keep repeating it works for another few washes and i am now looking for another solution /
