Passenger side tail light?

I'm going to buy a tail light for my l995 Carolla. My question is this: Should I take it to a mechanic to install it or is this something a person with a screwdriver can do?

You should be able to do this yourself,if there are no screws on the outside lens to unscrew, then it is probably in the boot, unclip or unscrew the bulb holder in the boot and there will probably be a couple of screws sticking out with nuts on them (hold your new lamp in the same position and you will be able to match the screws up)take the nuts off, pull away old lens holder, put in new rear lens and replace and tighten nuts again(not dead tight, finger tight plus a bit)replace bulb holder(just push it all back in)and job done.Wish you luck.P.S. you may need a 10mil spanner as well as your screwdriver or a pair of pliers.Rich
