why do my high beams come on evertime i indicate right ?

i have a 2002 206 hdi, evertime i indicate right my high beams come on, can anyone tell why this is happening or even better how to fix it x

possible you have defective indicator stalk, you can get a good one cheap from good scrappy.should be easy to change.
