We have a Favorit AEG - about 6 years old - machine giving out an audible (VERY ANNOYING) signal - two beeps every 30 seconds or so shortly about half an hour into the programme - according to the manual that indicates difficulties with flow of water - had service person out who found no problem with hoses etc - he was uncertain as to problem - Now not able to use as programme stops once signal starts - only way to stop it is to turn it off - if anyone has any ideas that may save me having to replace machine I would be grateful.

is it draining ok?
the other thing that can make them bleep is the holes in the top spray arm being blocked and not letting the arm rotate fast enough.Sometimes you need to replace the top spray arm as the magnet inside comes loose!
