would i remove the fuel tank on a renault espace 1998 to fix the speed sens?

my fuel tank is now leaking after havin the sensor fixed

who fixed the sensor? if garage then they should. depends on where leak is coming from as to weather you need to take tank off. but i would be inclined to get it fixed by specilist due to what could happen if not done right.
