This is common with this printer. It is usually the print head failing. If it didn't change when you relaced the ink cartridge then the cable has probably snapped, or the head is partially damaged or worn. It is very unlikely to be anything stuck in the printer, but you can take the ink cartridge back out and wipe the head behind it if you want to try that. otherwise, take it to a dealer for a printer replacement, or throw it away if it is very worn.
