How do I solve my intermittent power problem of my Seat Alhambra 1.9td 2001?

Have a seat alhambra and once started it is fine to drive, until you hit about 60-70mph! It feels like someone has put the brakes on as we lose power and it is dangerous. Find lorries overtaking us as we have no power to use, unless I turn off the engine and start again, until again it hits about 60-70mph. Please Help?

it will probably have to go onto a code reader for starters and see if any faults are stored but it is worth looking at the intercooler and hoses for splits/cracks/air leaks and if you can try and get the inlet hose to the turbo off and feel the impeller for any free play and movement and check it is spinning ok,worth a look good luck
