we had to turn the electric off for some time and when it was put back on the alarm went off but we cant put our code in or anything and there are no zones flashing and it does not go to day , please help as we dont know how to tuen it off, it will only go off when we turn the electric off

try fitting new battery,power it up first from battery only,then switch on mains,press reset if it has this option,
