landrover freelander TD4 black smoke when engine under load?

how can i stop black smoke coming from the exhaust of my freelander TD4 when engine under load ,other wise ok

passenger side short intercooler hose split taped up no more black smoke happy days will replace asap

It could be either of the turbo intercooler hoses.one long one on drivers side of engine or thr short one on passenger side.Take off plastic engine cover on top of engine to enable you to inspect both of them for splits.Cheers

forgot to say its the plastic/rubber pipe,if you find a split tape it up and try again,leave it taped till you canget a new part,
