Empisal Companion 300 overlocker. The rubber driving band from the little motor to the hand wheel keeps slipping and not turning the wheel. This does not happen all the time but regularly. What is the reason why this happens - the band still looks new and is quite tight.

There should not be a rubber band, there should be a neoprene toothed belt.
