Tenaka petrol hedge trimmer?

I have developed a problem with my trimmer in that when the blades are pointing towards the sky the engine runs okay but when I move them to the horizontal position the engine loses power. When the blades are pointing to the floor the engine cuts out.

fuel pick up problem in the tank. Check the fuel filter is always in fuel when tipped in the direction you state. If not either lengthen or replace the fuel feed pipe.
