SGR Professionalk123 deos not work correctly?

We bought an iron from Lidl last year and really, it has not been very good. The steam worked, but only when it wanted to, but now it has stopped steaming and doesn't heat up properly at all. It has hardly been used and we are very dissapointed.
The model no. is A9701.
Please can you help us to make it work, or will we have to send it away to be repaired.
We live in Portugal, on the Silver Coast and bought it from Lidl in Caldas da Rainha.

If you have your receipt still Lidl offer a 2 yr guarantee so get your money back and buy another make. I had one which was great but no longer works and do not have my receipt so it will probably have to be binned. Also get in touch with Lidl because they will try to help.
