windscreen wipers?

My windscreen wipers come on even when switched off on a 53 plate nissan s. when i indicate they turn offf soon as i cancel they come on . this happens only when its raining fairly heavily . Can any onesolve this problem its getting quite annoying .Thanks

On most newer cars the wipers come on automaticaly when it is raining(why don't you want them on when it is "raining fairly heavily" anyway)if it annoys you that the wipers come on when it is raining take the fuse out.Read or download the handbook.
