To repair a non working ring I replaced the 3 main parts-ring,glass tube and attachment. The on and heating control switch works (I tested it on other ring)
But still no life/heat from the ring in question. Any clues very welcome! Thk you.

Check the attachment that all the wires come from and to-sometimes although they look the same they are put on the other way round so you need to follow the markings ie 1a,1b,2a,2b correspond with the attachment you took off rather than just checking that the wires look in the same order-if in doubt call an electrician!
