The door is locked shut?

The door is locked shut and won't open and now i have broken the handle off! Any ideas how to get it off so i can replace it with a new one as all the screws on the hinge??

Try spraying keyhole with some WD40, and leave to soak for a few minutes. Also if it's a front or back outside door try opening from opposite side.
