Hello!!!

My name is Lucy Dorey! I am a happy owner of my own little Vauxhall Corsa Life 1.0 registeration plate LY52.

I have experienced some problems with it actually, and I admit its getting on a bit now, I believe its a 2003 car, I brought it second hand!

Anyway, the battery died the other day and I charged it back up again with the help from my dad, however the radio is officially dead, it says "safe" on it, so i believe it is locked! However, since no booklet or anything came with the car to start with I do not know any codes, nor how to unlock it in the first place, some websites are saying press AC button or something, but nothing seems to work!

Also, I'm not sure if you can help, or whether I should take it to a garage, but the climate control/air conditioner isnt working. Well the air conditioner does work, but the blower doesnt seems to...could this be the fuse? if so what it the fuse number? As I said before I have no booklet so I dont know what fuse to look at! I imagine the garage will cost a fortune to fix it, so I hope it is just the fuse!

if you can find a car audio techie in your area, they might be able to help you unlock it,(cheaper than main dealer).
your a/c may need re-charging, lots of local garages will do this for a lot less than main dealer. get them to check fuse for you as this could be the cheapest option for you. also get your battery checked out, this can be done free of charge at certain local motor factors.
