how do i adjust my handbrake on my Peugeot 406?

i had a new cable and rear discs fitted a year ago and it still doesnt hold on a hill

you have to adjust handbrake shoes first, by removing rear wheels, and pulling out rubber grommet in disc, and use screwdriver to adjust shoes. then adjust cable at rear of car, under tin plate, if it has one where both cables meet, they are 10mm nuts. use wd40!
