Why won't the water cut off when it reaches the level where it should cut off? The water just runs til it overflows the drum.

What make is it ????
generally its one of the following reasons:-
blocked filter or bottom tub hose
blocked air chamber
blocked or split pressure hose
faulty pressure switch
modern machines can be a water counter issue but generally wouldn't flood!
