volkswagen sharan se tdi 1.9 one time it will start then another time it wo?

coil light keeps flashing while driving have change the fuel solenoid one time it will start another time it wont for 2 to 3 hours later

Coil light indicates a glow plug problem so if it isn't starting from cold a new glow plug (or plugs) may be required.

If it isn't starting when warm then the starter motor is likely to be at fault. The answer is a brand new starter motor. Common fault.
