Ford Mondeo Mk3 1.8 with engine problem!!?
Have a Mk3 Mondeo With 1.8 Duratec Engine (On a 52 plate), Car starts very rough.. Rubbing noise at one end of the engine and very tappety at the other. Loses power and feels like a misfire in engine.. When driven with Light's on this pinking gets worse and delay in acceleration is appalling.. I can also add that the clocks on the dashboard go mad on occasion when accelerating! no true readings just waving needles and flickering lights, including radio volume increase/decrease.. any thoughts???
