The motor is smelly and smoking, Burning out i think .Can a replacement motor be obtained ,if so at what cost ,or is it worth it
thanking you Mr J Peters (Wisbech Camb,s)
I have replaced an armature on a KM400 and whilst fiddly it was no problem. Replacing the rest of the motor would be easy and simply swapping out the whole thing not a problem. From the drawings I have seen of the spares your model should be easy too. Found a site that does spares, I was looking for the one I have used before but came across this one which looks comprehensive http://www.spares2go.co.uk/quicksearch.html but when the armature went on my machine I got a replacement at a better price from my local high street domestic appliance shop (a real one not one that just moves boxes) Good Luck
