My frigidaire fre2422a is over freezing?

the above unit has ice in the back of the fridge, and the freezer is over icing up. Only defrosted it 4 weeks ago, and now it has more ice than before! manual says i may have pressed the super freeze button! but it dont say where it is! Can you help me to stop this over freezing! thermostat is only on 1! thank you in anticipation!

Your thermostat is on the way out,
this fridge does not have a super freeze button

listen to the inside of the upper cabinet when the fridge is running.
You should be able to hear slight hissing/gurgling sound as refrigerant circulates, that indicates the fridge has got enough gas to do it's job.

just replace the thermostat, very simple task,
it's mounted inside the upper right side of the chiller next to the lamp,
Please make sure you disconnect the fridge from the mains before making repairs "unplug it"
