how to fix my kawasaki?

I just bought a kawasaki kx 125. it's a 2000 model, and I want to race. The throttle is sticking and the fork is leaking, slowly.

check the throttle cable is free and try to lubricate it with a cable oiler and also check the grip is not rubbing against the handlebar, the fork seal is a difficult thing to explain on a mx bike as they are different to road bikes .are the forks upside down type?
