how do i put it right ,it comes up with error 40 all the time and cannot get it to work the washings piling up big time- someone please help,i think my husband could do it he's just at aloss as to see how ...thankyou

e40 is a door lock failed.remove the rubber door gasket on the lock side.remove the 2 screws that hold the lock to th cabinet and carefully pull thw lock unit out.disconnect wires and fit a new one
