My dryer starts up and shuts down a minite later; is it the motor?

I have a Kenmore dryer model number 110.96478800. When I started it up it will run for a couple of minites and than shut off. I believe it is the motor, but not sure. This problem started today! How do I get to the motor and do I have to replace the pulley's and belt?

I've just stripped down a Simpson dryer and discovered that the fan belt at back of the machine had come off.I believe that the thermostat has been tripping out repeatedly as the machine was overheating very quickly due to that fan not running.(I don't know this to be true but is my best guess?!).
The machine is now not running at all and I believe the thermostat has now been ruined due to the fact I did not recognise that the tumbler was still tumbling but the fan was'nt blowing at the same time.
