Do I need to change the drum of my Indesit W105?

My indesit W105 makes a terrific racket when in spin mode. Does this mean that there is a problem with the drum? If so, can I change it? Would this be cost effective? The machine is about 4 years old.

Bin it, by the time you have replaced the parts and paid for the labour, if you can't do it yourself, you're better off buying a new one. You might spend out on replacing the drum and then something else may go wrong a little while after.

Hope it's a help., August 2010
