there is a plasticy vibration coming from the dash area on low revs. it goes when revs biuild up. driving me mad, any ideas?

So it's resonance vibration - in sympathy with the speed of the engine - I might try placing strips of sticky tape over various parts to discover which piece is making the sound - alternatively put strips of tape all over all the likely culprits and remove them one by one until the noise returns - then you'll know.
