my cr-v wont accept the dvd navigation disc,?

Hi,
I took my dvd disc out of my 2005 cr-v because it wasn't getting past the safety screen. I cleaned the dvd, briefly, but now the unit won't 'suck' it back in!

Any clues anyone?
