I'm back!! hopefully you understand this if not post again by using the asnwer form on this [your] question page.

As you don't say what model the fridge is I can only add the instructions for starting on gas for my Electrolux RM 4231
Ensure the gas bottle valve is turned on [read note at the end of this.]
Turn to off both 12volt and mains switches.
Turn gas control knob to max position.
Turn on the electronic ignition switch you will hear a 'Ticking sound' and the light flashing.
Press in the gas control knob you just turned to max position hold it for 10-15 sec.
When the lamp on igniter switch stops flashing the fridge burner has lit. Allow time for air to disburse as it may have been off for some time.
Other fridges have pizo igniter which you have to keep pressing. At the base of the fridge you will see a round pilot light window check its alight.
If fridge goes out don't worry there is fail safe device that shuts off the gas [Thermocoupler it shuts off gas when flame goes out] Same with fire and many gas/ovens have same safety device as well as the carver water heater.

Towsure for leasure equipment and accessories or local Caravan/camping shop.
Red switch 12 volt so switch on the 12volt system and use the red switch.

Green switch 230/40 volt. connect to mains on site or by using an adapter power it on home mains to test everything is working on the mains side. Go to www.towsure.com check out the leasure accessories. or a local camping/caravan supplies shop.

Gas: Not sure I will get my book from the caravan Sunday watch this space it will be posted as a separate answer.
