Door sencor?

I have just had a new front door fitted and the fitter has taken the sencor of with out writing what wire went where? i have 1 yellow 1 blue (not ure if the blue was connected) and red and blk. I know the yellow went to the top screw on the bottom 2 connecters. the alarm system is 5va veritas

the chrome screws are the switch contacts,so the switch wires are put on those ,if your not sure,twist the red and black together,check try and set panel,if it shows a tamper,then twist the yellow and blue together,and try again

will be the yellow and blue normally across the chrome screws.

there are no set wiring for alarms,the yellow and blue are some times used as a tamper circuit,the other colours can be used for the timing circuit,depends on the engineer or the company who fitted it,if you get it wrong,you wont damage anything,you will just cause a tamper,with what you say it sounds like the red and black are the switch wires,they should be fitted to the silver screws on door contact,one each side,(not the mounting screws)
