I almost have to over rev to pull away in my Laguna?

When I pull away from my drive or lights, I have to over rev to make the car move, I sound like a learner or old man, if I don't do this, the car sounds like it is about to stall. Is there anything I can do to alter this?

No the clutch seems OK and the brakes are fine.
