How can I fix Sanyo cass register ECR445?

I have an ECR445 Sanyo cash register, after ringing an item in it came up with errorEP--LO.C1 can you tell me what that is and how to fix it please, it does not work now

It sounds like you have a printer jam. Make sure there is nothing stuck in the printer.
