The timing belt on my R-reg Vaxhall Vectra 1.6 has snapped?

The timing belt on my R-reg Vaxhall Vectra 1.6 has snapped, I was doing no more that 20mph at the time. Is it likely that this has caused damage to other parts of my engine? Could you give me a rough idea of how much this may cost me to fix? Please help, Thank you.

Or you could get another engine for around £200 and fit it yourself or get someone else to do it for you. Canbelts need changing when vauxhall say so to avoid this problem.
Kind Regards.

Very common problem, even at 20 mph these engines normally bend the valve,s.
I normally do the whole job for around £500,so this should give you an idea of what to pay.
