Hotpoint FDW60 Dishwasher door not closing?

My FDW 60 front door will not latch closed. Trays and runners appear to be fully retracted but the door will not close. I cannot find a picture of the latch mechanism to allow further investigation. Any tips or pointers would be most welcome
