The bonnet opened ok, now we've shut it and it won't lift up. Tried pulling the release lever, no joy; bouncing it up and down - no joy; taken off the front grill on the advice of Renault dealer to get into the mechanism - can't get to the mechanism to move it, and thus open it.

Help please!!!!!!!

see if you can get to the lock holding bolts, might need to go under car and be a tight fit, look behind front grill, could be bolts there.
