fuel leaking from petrol tank area?

ford focus 1.8 saloon, i have lost half a tank of fuel, there is not a hole in the tank, seems to be coming from between the tank and fuel pump

sounds like you might have a hole in the fuel pipe, or pipe has come loose, you would need to check pipes to see where leak is and renew faulty pipe. you might have to start car for fuel pump to work under presure to find leak.
