My zanussi WJS.1397W over heated and now drum doesn't turn. Whats wrong?

The other day I came home to find my Zanussi washer dryer had over heated and the drum not turning. I put in on spin. It then emptied, but did not do anything else. I have fiddled about with it and got the cloths out, but it now does not make any effort to turn the drum; it just switches on the pump to drain. It does however switch on the Dryer, but again the drum will not rotate. The clicking switch which you set the program by does also seem not to do anything.

I have now taken bits and pieces out and have examined the motor and pulley of the drum. All seem ok. It looks as though the motor is not getting the signal to drive. Where does this signal come from?

PLEASE HELP!

Cheers Sean
