refit tension spring on zanussi dryer?

Both the broken belt & tension spring were laying in the bottom of our dryer. I have a new belt but cannot see where the spring attaches to keep tension on the pulley. Can anyone tell me what I'm missing?

Just fyi, with your help ck I managed to get our dryer back together with the drum free spinning nicely. Unfortunately it seems the motor has had it & it just humbs - so its off to find a new one. At least I learnt something new - cheers!

Thanks, that is an excellent description. I have actually tried what you suggest but it seemed to pull the motor the wrong way - obviously I have done something wrong with belt around the pulley. I will have another go. Thanks again.

one end of the spring hooks in to the plastic base whilst the other end of the spring hooks over the silver bolt that goes through the motor casing to hold it all together.from the middle of the motor go downwards to the plastic base and that hole is where you hook the spring

model is ZDC46130W.

I can see what looks like a nice hole to put one end of the spring on top of the motor casing but nowhere for it to fit to on the chasis. There doesn't appear to be anything broken.
